Melissa from Roetree Bridal.
Hair stylist working on a bride for her wedding day in front of a window.

Hi my name is Melissa!

I’ve been styling hair since 2013. I was practically raised in a hair salon, under the wing of my auntie who is still doing hair to this day.

Although I love to do it all, weddings have always been my favorite because it’s a new chapter in a brides life and I’m grateful to be apart of the memories. The love stories are countless in my book.

I plan on having you fall in love with your hair on a romantic endless wedding day.

What's your favorite thing about working with brides?

My favorite part about working with brides is hearing the how they met story and how he proposed. I think having a little story time with the bride and bridal party sets the mood in why we have all gathered to celebrate that special moment. Embracing the love in the air. I always geeked honored to be apart of such a beautiful celebration and getting to hear how it began and where it all started is always the cherry on top.

What's a bridal trend you're loving right now?

I always love a Old Hollywood style

What do you like to do outside of beauty?

I’m part of a burlesque dance team that keeps me busy but also enjoy painting at home

What advice would you give a bride?

Communication is key. With your significant other, with your family, with you’re friends, and even your bridal team. Voice your opinions and concerns because you should be able to be picky on your wedding day.

What else should we know about you?

I love to travel and I take any opportunity I can take.
